For over 20 years Keaton has owned and managed a professional hunting operation, K&K Outfitters. There are many options for outdoor activities for those looking for something different.  

  
Hunting 101 Class
Once a year Keaton will be providing a small group the opportunity to learn from a professional in the field of whitetail and turkey hunting. The two day classes would include land management techniques, stand placement and hanging, judging and aging of animals and basic hunting techniques used by the pro.  

• $300 per two-day session (nightly fee for staying at Little Aruba is not included in this cost)

    
Fishing
Southeast Kansas is known for some great Midwest fishing opportunities. Strip mining during the turn of the century opened up many pits that are now tremendous fishing spots for locals and others traveling through. We can give you access to many acres of these local pits within 10-20 miles of your stay. They are stocked with largemouth bass, crappie, channel cat and bluegill.  

• Unguided - $150 per day per person

• Guided - $250 per day per person (6 Hour Trip)

  • ​Those wanting to experience the opportunity to fish on some of the great lakes around our area for walleye, large mouth bass, crappie, cat fish, white bass and spoonbill. We can connect you with professional guides to make sure you experience a great trip.
     

Shed Hunting Weekend
For those seeking a great opportunity to hike thousands of acres of ground searching for shed antlers. This activity takes place in Mid-March for only a few weekends.
